Mark Pearson is the London-based founder and Managing Partner of Fuel Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund and startup studio. He previously founded MyVoucherCodes in 2006 with an initial £300 investment, scaling the platform to serve over two million users across Europe and South America with approximately 100 employees. Pearson subsequently sold its parent company, Markco Media, for £55 million in June 2014 before transitioning into institutional venture capital. Establishing Fuel Ventures in 2013, he raised £539,900 through Seedrs with backing from investors including Andy Murray, and deployed £5 million across nine early companies, including a £1 million allocation to Ve Interactive.
