Mark McDade

Mark McDade is the Co-founder of Qiming US, established in January 2017. He brings over 30 years of operating experience across private and public companies within the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Previously, McDade served as the Chief Operating Officer at UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company, and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at PDL Biopharma. His executive background also includes tenures as the Chief Executive Officer of Signature Bioscience, founder and President of Corixa Corporation, and Chief Operating Officer of Boehringer Mannheim Therapeutics. Earlier in his career, he managed business development and product operations at Sandoz Ltd., now part of Novartis, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dartmouth College. Today, his primary focus remains on leveraging his comprehensive biopharma leadership background to identify and support emerging life science enterprises.
