Mark Mavroudis

Mark Mavroudis is the Silicon Valley-based Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Ares AI Innovation Group and Chief Operating Officer of the Ares Venture Capital Group. He assumed these roles in 2024 after serving as Vice President of Operations at BootstrapLabs, an artificial intelligence venture firm acquired by Ares Management. Previously, Mavroudis held technical leadership positions at major corporations, working as an Engineering Manager at IBM and Siemens, and a Solutions Manager at Xerox. He was a Founding Member at Splash Technology and held executive roles at startups including WebDAM, backed by a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He also serves as Vice Chairman at the San Francisco Center for the Book. His current work focuses on venture capital investing, operational management, and scaling applied artificial intelligence companies.
