Mark Loch

Mark Loch is currently an Operating Partner at Blackhorn Ventures, based in the Boulder, Colorado area. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2017, he has sourced early-stage investment opportunities and provided board-level advisory support to portfolio companies across consumer-facing and technology-enabled industrial sectors. Previously, Loch served as a Managing Director at McKinsey & Company, where he directed more than 100 growth initiatives and launched over 40 new business, product, and service offerings across the United States, Africa, and Latin America. He began his corporate career developing new consumer products at Procter & Gamble and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School alongside a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His four-decade professional career centers on building new commercial enterprises, advancing social impact initiatives, and scaling early-stage industrial technology ventures.
