Mark Linao

Mark Linao is a Partner at AET Fund and a Venture Partner at Candela Partners, an early-stage angel and pre-seed fund, based in Los Angeles, California. Before entering the venture capital industry, he worked as a senior multi-disciplined engineer at Raytheon, focusing on aerospace and defense, and subsequently held operational roles at Amazon and the Rubicon Project. He later transitioned into corporate strategy, serving as an Associate at Technicolor Ventures before advancing to Director of Corporate Development and Strategy at Technicolor. Linao holds two degrees from UCLA, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, alongside an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. His current investment focus spans emerging entertainment technologies, including augmented reality, virtual reality, gaming, computer vision, mapping, cryptocurrency, and blockchain applications.
