Mark Kvamme is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of the Ohio Fund, based in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to his current role, he co-founded Drive Capital, a venture firm that managed $2.2 billion in assets and backed prominent technology companies such as Duolingo and Root Insurance. Before launching Drive Capital, Kvamme served as a Partner at Sequoia Capital and worked in public service as the state development director and interim president of JobsOhio under Governor John Kasich. His early career includes serving as Chairman and CEO of CKS Group, holding positions at Apple France, and earning a bachelor's degree in French Economics and Literature from UC Berkeley. Following his departure from Drive Capital in 2025, Kvamme's current focus centers on the Ohio Fund, targeting regional economic development across the technology, healthcare, real estate, and manufacturing sectors.
