Mark Krul is a Partner at Aglaia BioMedical Ventures and Chief Scientific Officer of the Oncode Accelerator program, based in Bilthoven, Netherlands. With over 30 years of experience in oncology drug development, he co-founded Aglaia Oncology Funds in 2004 and recently helped secure a $65 million first close for a new fund targeting $100 million. Krul has directed 12 early-stage biotechnology investments, including founding six startups, and contributed to notable exits such as the acquisition of Syntarga by Byondis and the Nasdaq IPO of Merus N.V. Holding a doctorate in molecular biology, he previously led research at the European Cancer Center and currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at Immunogenik. His current focus centers on advancing early-stage cancer therapeutics and integrating innovative technologies like artificial intelligence into oncology drug discovery.
