Mark George

Mark George is the Founder and Managing Partner of Atacama Ventures, a venture capital fund of funds based in San Francisco, United States. Prior to his investing career, he was an early employee at the advertising technology startup Bizo, where he helped scale the commercial business operations until its acquisition by LinkedIn in 2014. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, which he completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia. Outside of his primary investment activities, he serves as the Executive Chairman and a board member for the Texas Rattlers professional bull riding team and is a recognized Kauffman Fellow. His current professional focus centers on identifying and backing emerging early-stage venture capital funds alongside their respective breakout portfolio companies.
