Mark Fields

Mark Fields is a Venture Partner at the early-stage venture capital firm Alsop Louie Partners, based in Oak Park, Illinois. He previously spent 15 years in corporate finance leadership at CME Group, where he founded CME Ventures and directed strategy teams that executed over $20 billion in transactions. Before this, Fields served as the Chief Executive Officer of Wickr Inc., repositioning the secure messaging platform for enterprise collaboration prior to its 2021 acquisition by Amazon Web Services. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Capital Services Group at Ernst & Young and held roles at Union Bank. He currently serves on multiple boards and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University alongside a BA in Economics. His current investment focus centers on early-stage financial technology, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence startups developing enterprise technologies.
