Mark Crane

Mark Crane is a Partner at General Catalyst based in San Francisco, where he focuses on sourcing and investing in enterprise technology companies from the seed to endurance stages. Prior to his current position, he served as a Vice President at Cove Hill Partners in Massachusetts, evaluating various growth-stage investment opportunities. He also held earlier finance and investment roles at JMI, building a strong foundation in software investing. His active investment portfolio features several notable technology startups, including the corporate travel management platform known as TravelPerk. Crane graduated from Amherst College, where he initially began his entrepreneurial career by founding and operating a local student storage business. He currently leverages his combined background as a former founder and experienced finance professional to support founders in building and scaling enduring enterprise technology companies across multiple stages.
