Mark Birschbach

Mark Birschbach is the Managing Director of Second Century Ventures and Senior Vice President of Strategic Business, Innovation, and Technology at the National Association of REALTORS® in Chicago, Illinois. Since joining the organization as a founding team member in 2013, he has overseen the global REACH accelerator program, which holds equity in over 150 companies and has generated $2.9 billion in related value. His portfolio management includes early investments in prominent technology firms like DocuSign, alongside managing the strategic relationship with realtor.com and the REALTOR Benefits® Program. Previously, Birschbach served as a Vice President in Investment Banking at Citi, focusing on mergers and acquisitions within the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. He also operated as the President and Chief Operating Officer for two real estate technology startups after earning his business degree from the University of Notre Dame.
