Mark Beeston

Mark Beeston is the Founder and Managing Partner of Illuminate Financial Management, a venture capital firm based in London, United Kingdom. Before establishing the investment firm in 2014, he spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank, where he served as a derivatives trader and Chief Operating Officer for both the Global Rates and Global Credit divisions. His operational experience includes launching the T-Zero platform at Creditex, which was acquired by Intercontinental Exchange in 2008, and serving as Chief Executive Officer of ICAP's Post Trade Risk and Information business. At Illuminate Financial, Beeston leads investments across Series A and Series B funds, managing capital backed by twelve strategic limited partners, including major institutions like JPMorgan, Barclays, and Citigroup. His current investment focus centers on early-stage enterprise financial technology, specifically targeting capital markets infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital assets.
