Mark Achler

Mark Achler is the Managing Director of MATH Venture Partners and an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, based in Chicago, Illinois. Before transitioning to venture capital, he co-founded four separate technology companies and served as an early employee at Apple. Achler later held the executive position of Senior Vice President of New Business, Strategy, and Innovation at Redbox, and operated as a Founding Partner at Kettle Partners from 1997 to 2002. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education from Purdue University in 1980, where he was later recognized as a Distinguished Alumni in 2016. In addition to co-authoring the book Exit Right and hosting The Real Work podcast, his current professional focus centers on early to mid-stage technology investments, startup exits, and teaching innovation strategies to emerging entrepreneurs.
