Marissa Bertorelli

Marissa Bertorelli is a Principal at Polaris Partners based in San Francisco, California, where she directs early-stage venture capital investments across the healthcare sector. Before joining the firm in 2019, she worked in the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs, trading equity derivatives for institutional hedge fund and mutual fund clients. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University, where she was an Arbuckle Fellow, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College. In her current capacity, Bertorelli serves on the Board of Directors for Amplifire and acts as a Board Observer for five additional portfolio companies, including Auron Therapeutics and Cohere Health. She also publishes a newsletter featuring interviews with healthcare founders. Her current focus remains centered on identifying early-stage opportunities within therapeutics, medical devices, digital health, and healthcare software.
