Mario Moscatiello

Mario Moscatiello is a Principal at Flex Capital based in Berlin, Germany, where he leads seed to Series A investments in early-stage technology startups. Prior to his current investment position, he served as a Principal at Cherry Ventures and held early venture capital roles, following an initial career as an analyst at McKinsey & Company. Throughout his career, he has been involved in more than 20 venture investments, including backing the unicorn startup Personio, and recently led a Q2 2025 funding round for an AI-driven developer tools company. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University and actively mentors early-stage founders through regional accelerator programs. Moscatiello currently focuses his efforts on bridging finance and operational growth for European business-to-business software companies operating within the artificial intelligence, financial technology, and developer tools sectors.
