Mario DeLara

Mario DeLara is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Caravela Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in São Paulo, Brazil. Since establishing the firm in January 2019, he has directed investments across the Latin American startup ecosystem, managing a team of 11 to 50 employees. Before transitioning to venture capital, he held corporate and entrepreneurial roles at major organizations, including The Kraft Heinz Company and Burger King. His academic background includes a bachelor's degree in business administration from Universidade Positivo, alongside further educational programs at Stanford University and Harvard University. Additionally, he has been involved with the global leadership community YPO and held positions at regional enterprises such as James Delivery and Nex Coworking. DeLara currently focuses on scaling early-stage Brazilian companies by providing founders with capital, strategic tools, and an extensive mentor network.
