Marielle Ednalino

Marielle Ednalino is a San Francisco-based Senior Associate at Initial Capital, an investment firm focused on seed and early-stage technology companies operating within the broader Bitcoin ecosystem. An alumna of the University of California, Davis, she is a self-taught computer scientist who previously established a local Girls Who Code chapter to expand technical education access. Through this specific educational initiative, she directly taught computer science fundamentals and basic programming skills to a cohort of over 50 young women. Building on her advocacy work, Ednalino also founded htm.elle, a dedicated nonprofit organization designed to empower young women from low-income and underserved communities to become future startup founders. Her current focus centers on sourcing early-stage blockchain investments for Initial Capital while actively working to close the persistent gender gap across institutional venture capital and entrepreneurship.
