Marianne Wu

Marianne Wu is a veteran venture capitalist and Venture Partner at Congruent Ventures and Standard Investments, focusing on scaling growth-stage deeptech and climate technology companies dedicated to industrial decarbonization. Previously, she served as President of GE Ventures, where she managed a one billion dollar investment portfolio spanning the global energy, industrial, and healthcare sectors. Her earlier career includes prominent roles as a Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, Vice President of Marketing at ONI Systems, and a strategic consultant at McKinsey. In her current capacity, she oversees key investments in innovative companies such as Ebb Carbon and Leap Energy while actively advising the Prime Coalition. Furthermore, she holds a doctorate and master of science in electrical engineering from Stanford University, alongside a bachelor of applied science in engineering physics from the University of British Columbia.
