Marianna Bonechi

Marianna Bonechi is a General Partner at Slava Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund, and splits her time between Menlo Park, California, and Vienna, Austria. She brings over 14 years of corporate development and mergers and acquisitions experience across the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors, having executed multiple M&A transactions in New York and Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to her current venture capital role, Bonechi served as an executive consultant at i5growth, a senior advisor to the Austrian Business Agency, and an advisor for Open Austria. Additionally, she is the co-founder of the Sand Hill Network, where she connects Silicon Valley investors with global tech communities, and has backed specific startups including Respeecher and Let's Enhance. Her current investment focus centers on pre-seed and seed-stage artificial intelligence, deep tech, and cybersecurity companies founded by Ukrainian teams.
