María F. González is the Managing Partner and Founder of Apex Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing her current firm in 2019, she served as a Senior Product Manager at Google, where she directed a 45-person engineering team to develop and launch enterprise cloud infrastructure solutions. González previously held the position of Principal at Sequoia Capital, managing a $150 million portfolio and leading Series A funding rounds for 14 different enterprise software and logistics startups. She began her professional career as a technology investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York after earning a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.
