Maria Eduarda Falcão is a Founding Partner at Gera Capital and the Executive Chairwoman of Grupo Salta Educação, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She holds a business administration degree from the University of Virginia and completed the OPM program at Harvard Business School. Prior to co-founding Gera Capital, she worked at McKinsey & Co. and in the private equity division of PCP-UBS Pactual. From 2013 to 2022, she served as Co-CEO of Grupo Salta Educação, helping build it into Brazil's largest primary education network, and co-founded Escola Eleva. Through Gera Capital, she has directed over R$1 billion in investments toward early-stage technology and education companies while serving on President Lula's Sustainable Social Economic Development Council. Her current focus centers on driving education technology innovation and managing active venture capital portfolios across the Latin American market.
