Maria Berkman

Maria Berkman is an Investor at Broadview Ventures based in Boston, Massachusetts, where she focuses on seed and Series A investments across the healthtech and biotech sectors. Operating within a firm that manages over $500 million in assets, she has actively participated in more than 20 deals, including a recent $165 million Series C extension for PathAI in 2024. Prior to joining Broadview Ventures in 2022, Berkman served as an Associate at ARCH Venture Partners and gained foundational operational experience in biotechnology strategy. She holds her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BA in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. After recently speaking on artificial intelligence and drug discovery at the 2025 J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, her current focus remains on backing innovative early-stage founders scaling digital health, advanced medical technology, and enterprise software solutions.
