Margaret Lim is the Managing Director at American Express Ventures, where she leads early-stage investments across the financial technology, commerce, and frontier technology sectors. Before joining her current firm, she co-founded HEROdyssey, an entrepreneurial venture designed to connect professional talent in the United States with growing innovation ecosystems throughout Southeast Asia. Her earlier financial career includes executing technology-focused private equity transactions as an institutional investor at Temasek International, alongside advising corporate clients as an investment banker at Credit Suisse.
