Marcos Mueller

Marcos Mueller is the founder and CEO of Darwin Startups, an early-stage venture capital and acceleration firm based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Since establishing the firm in 2015 after working in local incubators, he has built a portfolio of over 100 companies and managed $6 million in initial assets under management for the accelerator. Under his leadership, the firm announced a $20 million pre-seed and seed fund in 2024, securing a $13.5 million first close to write checks ranging from $50,000 to $1.5 million. Mueller has facilitated corporate innovation partnerships and co-investments with major institutions, including B3, Banco Safra, and Google For Startups, while backing regional technology companies such as CondoConta. His current focus remains on deploying capital into sector-agnostic Latin American startups across fintech, agriculture, and logistics while expanding the regional venture capital ecosystem.
