Marcelo Canovas

Marcelo Canovas is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Vendah, a Latin American e-commerce reselling platform based in São Paulo, Brazil. Since launching the company in January 2021, he has helped scale the platform to a team of 30 employees and $6.3 million in revenue, leading to its inclusion in the Y Combinator W23 batch. Previously, Canovas served as Co-Founder at Liv Up from June 2016 to November 2020, where he directed customer acquisition, retention, and digital scaling initiatives for the consumer brand. Before that, he co-founded the urban cycling application UseBike and the technology services firm Hatchr, providing dedicated chief technology and product officer services to early-stage startups. Leveraging his formal education in industrial engineering, his current focus centers on building operations, driving growth, and developing digital consumer marketplaces across the Latin American technology sector.
