Marcella Ceva

Marcella Ceva is the Chief Investment Officer of Microsoft's WE Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital fund based in Brazil. She brings over 12 years of professional experience across investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate fundraising, having advised on more than R$4 billion in large-scale transactions and major Brazilian debt restructurings. Prior to her current venture capital role, Ceva held financial advisory positions at G5 Evercore and began her career in corporate law with firms including Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP and Derraik & Menezes Advogados. She earned a law degree from the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and completed international relations coursework at Michigan State University. Today, her primary investment focus centers on sector-agnostic, seed-stage opportunities throughout the Brazilian market, with a specific emphasis on advancing gender equality and women's empowerment.
