Marcel Tan

Marcel Tan is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Tusk, a Y Combinator-backed enterprise software startup developing an artificial intelligence agent for generating unit and integration tests. Previously, he worked as a technical product manager at 6sense, where he successfully scaled the company's artificial intelligence email product from $300,000 to $8.9 million in total contract value within a single year. Before his tenure at 6sense, the self-taught software engineer served as a senior software engineer at a financial technology firm, leading the technical development of workflow orchestration and automation systems. Earlier in his professional career, he served as a company commander overseeing 300 officers in the Singapore Police Force and earned his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley. His current professional focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to automate complex software testing processes for modern engineering teams.
