Marc Hirshman

Marc Hirshman is a General Partner at Cultivation Capital and a Principal at Twain Financial Partners, based in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. In his venture capital role, he evaluates and supports pre-Series A technology, agriculture, and life sciences companies, typically directing initial investments ranging from $500,000 to $3 million per transaction. Hirshman recently helped lead the firm's third technology-focused vehicle, Cultivation Capital Tech Fund III, which secured $74 million in commitments from 89 limited partners against a $75 million target. Through his leadership, the firm has deployed capital into more than 140 startups, building a portfolio that includes recognizable entities such as Cheddar, Assembly, and Lockerdome. His current focus remains on sourcing early-stage deals across the Midwest technology ecosystem and guiding these growing portfolio companies through their subsequent Series B financing rounds.
