Marc Gendebien

Marc Gendebien is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Expon Capital, a venture capital firm based in Luxembourg. He began his career in 1995 as an equity fund manager at ING in Brussels, where he managed a €300 million AUM public equity fund that outperformed global benchmarks. In 2000, he co-founded Arvensia and served as Chief Financial Officer, building a platform that handled over 10 million tons of cereal contracts annually and became a leading European options broker. Gendebien later joined Société Générale in 2008 before moving to Genii Capital in 2011 to oversee portfolio performance, having previously earned a master's degree from Université Catholique de Louvain. His current focus centers on venture capital investments across the Benelux region, leveraging his extensive background in financial operations and the management of public and private equities.
