Marc Austin

Marc Austin is the Seattle-based CEO and Co-Founder of Hedgehog and the Managing Partner at IoT Capital. Before launching his current entrepreneurial ventures, he held senior product and strategy leadership positions at Amazon and Cisco, where he focused on scaling cloud infrastructure, mobile services, and the Internet of Things. As an active angel investor and member of the Alliance of Angels, he participates in a prominent Pacific Northwest investment network that has deployed more than $125 million across over 220 early-stage startups, generating in excess of $1 billion in total returns. Austin completed his formal business education at The Wharton School and holds a CFA Level 1 certification. His current professional focus centers on developing open-source network fabric for distributed cloud workloads while simultaneously funding seed-stage companies in the financial technology and investment platform sectors.
