Mamal Amini is the Founder of GovernGPT, an artificial intelligence startup focused on automating complex workflows for institutional fundraisers at asset management firms. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, he worked extensively as a machine learning scientist and co-authored more than ten foundational AI models alongside prominent industry researchers, including AI pioneer Yoshua Bengio and DeepMind Director Doina Precup. During his technical tenure, Amini specialized in building generative systems and large language models on some of the world's largest and most advanced hardware architectures. He previously contributed to the semiconductor industry by co-inventing a novel system designed to significantly shorten the complex chip design cycle at HiSilicon. Today, Amini leverages his deep technical background in machine learning research, large language models, and hardware optimization to develop specialized AI automation tools for the institutional finance sector.
