Malay Shah

Malay Shah is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Poka Labs, a technology startup focused on developing innovative analytics-driven solutions. Prior to founding this enterprise, he built a career holding various operations and engineering management positions within the global specialty chemicals industry. In these previous roles, Shah directed chemical plant operations across multiple international facilities located in the United States, Germany, and China. By deploying his specialized chemical expertise alongside advanced data analytics, he successfully optimized industrial processes and saved his former employers tens of millions of dollars in operational costs. He holds dual undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics from NC State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Shah currently focuses on bridging traditional industrial engineering frameworks with modern software applications to improve enterprise manufacturing efficiency.
