Mahyad Ghassemi

Mahyad Ghassemi is a London and San Francisco-based founder currently developing a new web application focused on creating artificial intelligence coworkers through natural language commands. Previously, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SigmaOS, a Y Combinator-backed software startup from the S21 cohort that successfully raised $4 million in early-stage venture funding. Alongside co-founders Ali Attar and Saurav Mitra, he engineered the first web browser specifically designed for professional workflows featuring natively integrated artificial intelligence agents. Under his executive leadership, the five-person company scaled its core platform to support over 100,000 active users who collectively generated 75,000 large language model requests daily. As a two-time Y Combinator founder, Ghassemi maintains a primary professional focus on building AI-enabled productivity tools and advancing internet infrastructure for modern enterprise applications.
