Maciej Szcześnik

Maciej Szcześnik is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Vinci Games, a virtual reality game studio based in Warsaw, Poland. Before establishing the VR startup in 2021, he spent over two decades in game development, notably serving as Lead Gameplay Designer at CD Projekt Red for The Witcher franchise and Lead Designer at 11 Bit Studios. He also held the position of Vice-Rector at the Warsaw Film School, where he authored the institution's video game development curriculum. Under his technical leadership, Vinci Games secured a $5.1 million seed funding round in 2023 to expand its flagship multiplayer title, Blacktop Hoops, which has accumulated over 19,000 positive user reviews. Szcześnik leverages his academic foundation in physics and computer science to focus on advancing gameplay mechanics and multiplayer experiences within the growing virtual reality sector.
