Maarten ‘t Hooft

Maarten ‘t Hooft is a Managing Partner at Notion Capital, a venture capital firm based in London, England, United Kingdom. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as the Co-founder and CEO of Adcrowd, an advertising technology startup which he exited to Teads in 2017. His earlier career includes operational roles at Microsoft and founding several digital agencies, following his studies in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. At Notion Capital, he oversees a portfolio of more than 50 companies and manages over €400 million in assets, including notable investments such as Hopin. Additionally, he is an active angel investor with over 20 personal deals and recently helped raise the firm's €200 million Fund III in 2024. His current investment focus centers on early-stage European founders building scalable B2B SaaS, enterprise software, and climate technology platforms.
