Lukasz Kostka

Lukasz Kostka is a Polish technologist and the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Estimote, a location intelligence and beacon technology platform based in Kraków, Poland. Alongside co-founder Jakub Krzych, he launched the startup through the Y Combinator S13 cohort and scaled its sensor-based analytics platform to support a network of over 50,000 developers. Prior to establishing Estimote, Kostka co-founded AdTaily, which grew into Central Europe's largest self-service advertising network before being acquired by AGORA in 2009. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from AGH University of Science and Technology, began his career as a Web Developer for Silvermedia in 2005, and later joined Versum as a Supervisory Board Member. His current focus remains on advancing Internet of Things infrastructure, proximity technology, and mobile development platforms for Android and iOS, piloting solutions with major retailers.
