Lukas Bock

Lukas Bock is the current CEO of Mercura, an artificial intelligence startup focused on the construction technology sector. Previously, he worked as an AI Engineer at Google X, where he developed and implemented end-to-end machine learning pipelines that directly impacted millions of active users. Before his tenure at Google X, Bock served as a Data Scientist at Allianz, driving artificial intelligence integration initiatives across approximately 60 global entities, and gained additional financial sector experience at Berenberg. He attended the University of Cambridge as a doctoral candidate before dropping out to pursue his career in the technology industry, building upon his early exposure to the commercial HVAC and plumbing sectors through his family's business. Bock currently focuses on leveraging his extensive machine learning and data science expertise to modernize traditional construction and trade industry operational workflows.
