Luisa Bouneder

Luisa Bouneder is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Osium AI, an artificial intelligence software company based in Paris, France. She established the enterprise in 2023 alongside co-founder Sarah Najmark to develop specialized AI-driven tools for materials science research and development. Under her technical leadership, Osium AI participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2023 batch and subsequently secured $2.6 million in seed funding from investors including Singular, Kima Ventures, and Collaborative Fund. Prior to her current entrepreneurial venture, Bouneder gained hands-on experience building data science applications for the materials and life sciences industries after studying mathematics and physics at Ecole Polytechnique and earning a Master of Science from Stanford University. Her current professional focus centers on leveraging machine learning for materials properties prediction, inverse design, and accelerated microscopy image analysis to drive industrial sustainability.
