Lucas Irvine

Lucas Irvine is the co-founder of Tire Swing, an early-stage technology startup participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 accelerator batch. Prior to launching this venture, he served as a Senior Software Engineer at Instacart, where he was responsible for developing high-visibility consumer features across the application's front page. Before his tenure at Instacart, Irvine worked as a Software Engineer at the financial services corporation Capital One. During his time there, he contributed directly to the technical development of Cloud Custodian, an open-source rules engine utilized for managing complex cloud infrastructure environments. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, successfully graduating from the institution in 2019. Irvine's professional background centers on advanced software engineering and infrastructure development, with a current focus on building and scaling early-stage technology enterprises.
