Luca Pegolotti

Luca Pegolotti is the Founder of Nucleo, an artificial intelligence startup focused on applying physics-informed machine learning to healthcare innovations. Prior to founding Nucleo, he served as a Researcher at Apple Health AI, where he developed computational methods and machine learning models for medical applications. His academic career includes postdoctoral and doctoral research at the Stanford School of Medicine, focusing on cardiovascular system modeling and AI-driven diagnostics for medical imaging. Pegolotti earned both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy from EPFL in Switzerland, following a Bachelor of Science from Politecnico di Milano in Italy. He has authored multiple published papers detailing advancements in computational modeling, optical sensors, and artificial intelligence applied to medical diagnostics. His current focus centers on bridging applied mathematics and computational modeling to build advanced artificial intelligence solutions for the healthcare sector.
