Luca Martial

Luca Martial is the Product Lead at Giskard, where he focuses on developing safety products and evaluation tools for large language models. Transitioning from technical data science roles into product leadership, he previously led the development of the LangTest evaluation library, creating open-source testing frameworks for generative AI systems. Earlier in his career, he worked as a data scientist contributing to the engineering of Spark NLP and Spark NLP for Healthcare, building scalable enterprise data systems and natural language processing applications. Martial also serves as an instructor for the "Red Teaming LLM Applications" course hosted on Coursera in partnership with DeepLearning.AI, educating practitioners on vulnerability testing. His current focus centers on advancing artificial intelligence trustworthiness by guiding enterprise customers through rigorous red teaming assessments and securing production-ready generative AI deployments across various industries.
