LING WONG

Dr. Ling Wong is Founder and General Partner of Highbury Group and Sea Lane Ventures, and Senior Advisor to Lightspeed Venture Partners. She holds a PhD from Harvard in Engineering Sciences and BSc degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biology from MIT. At Harvard, she created the world's first inhaled TB vaccine. She founded the a16z Bio + Health fund and previously worked at the Gates Foundation, helping establish a $1.5B global investment portfolio. She has partnered with 15+ unicorns including Devoted Health, Orca Bio, Color, Stripe, and Notion, with notable exits including Anacor (acquired by Pfizer for $5.2B) and Slack.
