Ling Wong is the United States based Founder and General Partner of Highbury Group and Sea Lane Ventures, and Senior Advisor at Lightspeed Venture Partners. She holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University, where she invented the first inhaled tuberculosis vaccine, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering and Biology from MIT. Prior to this, serving as a Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundation, she established a global investment portfolio valued at one and a half billion dollars. Throughout her venture career, she has partnered with over 15 unicorn companies and overseen notable exits including the acquisition of Anacor Pharmaceuticals by Pfizer for over five billion dollars, Visterra, and Slack. Wong currently focuses on seed through Series B investments in biotechnology, digital health, and enterprise software, emphasizing data driven platforms to improve healthcare access and equity.
