Lexi Rovner

Lexi Rovner is the CEO and Co-founder of 64x Bio, a synthetic biology platform company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She earned her PhD from Yale University before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of geneticist George Church. Rovner subsequently partnered with Church, Pam Silver, and two other researchers to spin out 64x Bio from the Harvard University Wyss Institute. The startup later participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program to advance its cellular engineering technology for broader commercial applications. Her work in the bioengineering sector earned her recognition as a 2022 Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst and a spot on the Endpoints News 20 Under 40 list of next-generation biotech leaders. Rovner currently focuses on scaling her company's biological engineering platform to bridge the critical gap between academic innovation and biotechnology commercialization.
