Lexi Rovner is the CEO and Co-founder of 64x Bio, a synthetic biology platform company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She earned her PhD from Yale University before completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of geneticist George Church. Rovner subsequently partnered with Church, Pam Silver, and two other researchers to spin out 64x Bio from the Harvard University Wyss Institute. The startup later participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program to advance its cellular engineering technology for broader commercial applications.
