Leo Chanea

Leo Chanea is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Sunlight, a fintech startup based in New York. At the six-employee company, he directs product strategy, growth initiatives, and operations scaling for the development of a universal card-on-file API. Sunlight participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2022 batch and subsequently raised pre-seed funding from Fiat Ventures in June 2022. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, Chanea served as the Director of Product Management at Moovit, where he contributed to scaling the platform to reach over one billion users before its $1 billion acquisition by Intel. He also held previous roles at the venture capital firm Monashees+, gaining foundational experience in technology investments and community building. His professional background currently centers on embedded finance, product execution, and developing engaging applications within the technology sector.
