Lauren Schulte Wang

Lauren Schulte Wang is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Flex Company, a sustainable period care enterprise based in Los Angeles, California. She established the women's health startup in 2016 to manufacture alternative menstrual products, successfully guiding the business through the Y Combinator accelerator program. Prior to launching her own venture, Wang spent over a decade executing consumer marketing strategies for major multinational corporations, holding positions at Coca-Cola and IBM. She completed her undergraduate education at Georgia State University while working full-time, ultimately earning a bachelor's degree in business as a first-generation college graduate. In July 2023, she received an Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Greater Los Angeles region. Wang's current focus remains on scaling consumer health business operations and mentoring early-stage founders across the global technology and startup ecosystem.
