Lanre Yusuf

Lanre Yusuf is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chowdeck, an on-demand food delivery platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in October 2021 alongside CEO Femi Aluko and CTO Olumide Ojo, the Y Combinator-backed startup currently serves 1.5 million customers across 11 cities using a network of over 20,000 riders. Under his operational leadership, the company secured a $9 million Series A funding round led by Novastar Ventures in August 2025 to finance its upcoming expansion into Ghana. Prior to establishing Chowdeck, Yusuf served as an Engineering Lead at Crown Interactive, where he directed software development teams in building business support solutions for a major Nigerian power utility provider. His current focus centers on scaling quick-commerce and logistics technology infrastructure to empower restaurants and streamline delivery operations throughout the African market.
