Lalit Lal

Lalit Lal is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Keye, an artificial intelligence-driven financial technology startup based in New York, New York. Prior to establishing Keye, he accumulated over seven years of industry experience as an early software engineer across three AI-focused startups spanning the advertising, robotics, and pharmaceutical sectors, ultimately contributing to two private equity exits. Lal holds formal educational credentials in robotics from the University of Waterloo and machine learning from the University of Toronto. At Keye, which was selected for the Y Combinator Fall 2024 cohort, he leads full-stack technical development alongside co-founders who previously managed over $20 billion in transactions at Vista Equity Partners and Goldman Sachs. His current focus centers on engineering enterprise software that automates due diligence and transaction analysis for institutional private equity firms.
