Kushal Mohta

Kushal Mohta is the Co-founder of Optifye.ai, an artificial intelligence manufacturing startup based in San Francisco, California. He established the enterprise in 2024 alongside co-founder Vivaan Baid as part of the Y Combinator W25 batch, recently closing a seed funding round at a $25 million valuation. The eight-employee company develops computer vision software that monitors factory floor operations in real time, securing contracts with global manufacturers within its first nine months. Prior to this venture, Mohta leveraged his early exposure to his family's manufacturing plants to engineer a system that increased operational efficiency by 105 percent in a semi-automated automobile gear facility. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University. Mohta currently focuses on deploying computer vision technologies to optimize assembly line performance across the automotive, medical device, and electronics sectors.
