Kunaal Sikka

Kunaal Sikka is the Co-Founder and President of SubImage, an open-core cybersecurity startup developing alternatives to Wiz. Previously, he spent four years at Lyft, where he advanced from a new graduate to Staff Engineer and reported directly to the Chief Information Security Officer. During his tenure, he architected the company's security information and event management systems, insider abuse protocols, and vulnerability management platforms. Sikka also served as a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic and earned a computer science degree from the University of Washington in just two years. Earlier in his career, he won an internal employee hackathon as a high school intern at Microsoft by prototyping the technology that eventually became LinkedIn's QR code feature. His technical background centers on building scalable cybersecurity infrastructure and integrating artificial intelligence into enterprise security operations.
