Luo previously served as the Chief Technology Officer for a child safety technology initiative, where he successfully developed, patented, and licensed an edge computing device in June 2023 designed to prevent vehicular heatstroke. His broader engineering portfolio includes automating computer vision machine learning pipelines for agricultural robotics and designing a custom Raspberry Pi Ground Station HAT printed circuit board utilizing LoRa technology in October 2024.
